CHANGING OUR COMMUNITIES
Get to Know the Team
We’re a team of professionals working hard to improve safety in our communities. At CHS, we understand the training we teach today has a huge impact on the safety of our Line crews that work hard everyday to keep the power on. One of our main objectives is to keep our student/instructor ratio low to allow more hands on and personal instruction.
ABOUT US
Cody Hotline School
The Wyoming Electric Cooperatives and the City of Cody sponsor the Cody Hotline School, which is a safety training facility for linemen from Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, Montana and Nebraska. CHS started in 1995 with a transformer, underground and distribution section. Each year the field has grown with installation of a Transmission section in ’98 and a Substation in ’99. Students have come from Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Nebraska, Colorado and Arizona representing Coop’s, Municipals, Contractors and the Air Force. Over the year’s we have involved our young customers by running a tee shirt logo contest.
